Thurgau Saxonia
For our journey along the rivers of Germany we have chartered the charming MS Thurgau Saxonia. Renovated in 2020, this comfortable ship offers a tranquil atmosphere on which to relax and enjoy the picturesque views of the passing landscapes. The vessel can accommodate up to 84 passengers but we will be limiting numbers to just 70 for our charters in order to enhance our guests’ experience.

All cabins are tastefully furnished and feature individually controlled air-conditioning, private bathroom with shower, television, minibar, hairdryer, safe and wardrobe. All cabins measure 12 square metres and are furnished with a fixed double bed with two mattresses. Cabins on the Main Deck feature two picture windows which cannot be opened. Cabins on the Upper Deck boast floor-to-ceiling windows of which the upper section can be opened.

Meals are taken in the Restaurant on the vessel’s Main Deck which seats all passengers in an open seating arrangement and features delicious local and international dishes. Breakfast is buffet style with hot and cold items, and lunch and dinner are a mix of buffet items and a served set menu with a choice of three main courses including a vegetarian option. House wine, beer and soft drinks are included with lunch and dinner on board.

Spread over three decks, the ship’s public areas are spacious and elegantly decorated with panoramic windows allowing you to enjoy the passing scenery. These include the elegant Restaurant and the Panorama Lounge Bar which is situated on the Upper Deck. Stylishly decorated with clusters of armchairs and sofas set around tables, this area boasts panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and is the perfect place to spend time at leisure and socialise with new friends. The Sun Deck includes awnings, chairs, tables and sun loungers. There is no lift aboard the vessel and access to the decks is via stairs.

Docking space is allocated by the local river authorities. On occasion other river cruise vessels may be required to dock alongside our ship.
