Built in 1992 and refurbished in 2005, we are delighted to be continuing our association with delightful MS Quest. A unique gem of a vessel, she takes just 53 passengers in 26 comfortable, sea-view cabins. Her small size allows her to venture where larger ships cannot, yet because of her substantial build and design she is at home in the wilderness of Svalbard as she is sailing a tranquil Scottish Loch.

Passenger cabins are located on two decks and cabins are priced according to size and location. All have outside views, individually controlled heating and air-conditioning, private shower and toilet. They are well designed with typical Scandinavian light woods and pleasing colours. The superior grade cabins on decks three and four are spacious and have a seating area. The owner’s cabin on deck four has two armchairs and a small table, and two large picture windows to enjoy views from its prime location on the vessel.

  • Your Space

The Panorama lounge located on the top deck affords excellent views and is the main meeting place. It is here that the onboard team will provide informative and informal talks and briefings. The bar and a small library are also located in the lounge. The attractive dining room seats all passengers in a single sitting and offers delicious meals with a mixture of table service and buffet. The Bridge is also open to passengers and here Scandinavian officers will provide charts and sailing information for all those interested in the vessel’s navigation and operation. There will be a doctor onboard.

  • Your Dining

The dining room is located in the aft on deck 2. Here you will enjoy delicious meals in between landings ashore and explorations by Zodiac. It is comfortable and spacious enough to accommodate all passengers and expedition staff in one seating, and the portholes allow you to take in your surroundings as you dine. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style and dinner combines a starter and salad buffet with a served main course and dessert. Meals offer a choice of fish, meat and vegetarian options.

  • Life Onboard

Adventure cruising is about exploration and therefore an itinerary aboard the MS Quest is never fixed. Cruises aboard the MS Quest will appeal to those with an adventurous streak, those keen to get off the beaten track and explore far-flung destinations, removed from civilization. The atmosphere onboard is consequently informal and time onboard is often spent on the Panorama Deck keeping watch for a fascinating nature sighting or at the ready for an impromptu exploration by Zodiac.

There is ample space onboard to relax and take in your surroundings, but similarly communal spaces will be buzzy following, a wildlife sighting of your very own, or taking part in an informal discussion with the onboard team who will give you insight into the remote islands you have called into that day.

  • For your comfort

The MS Quest exceeds all SOLAS requirements and is equipped with the latest communication and navigation equipment. With a crew of 25, your journey promises to be a combination of fascinating landings ashore coupled with time spent relaxing onboard with like-minded travellers. The vessel is equipped with four Zodiacs which will allow you to explore places well off the tourist track.
