We are delighted to be working with the four-star vessel the MS Seaventure (formerly known as MS Bremen), an expedition ship of a special kind. The vessel accommodates a maximum of 149 passengers and we are working with our associates, Polar Latitudes who have provided us with an allocation of cabins for this extraordinary expedition. There will be a qualified expedition team of naturalists on board who travel ashore with you and also provide informative talks in the comfort of the well-designed Panorama Lounge. There is also a crew of 90 offering exquisite onboard service.

The MS Seaventure is large enough to provide stability and speed and yet small enough to manoeuvre in remote areas, making her an ideal vessel for expedition cruising. The vessel is equipped with a fleet of Zodiac landing craft and the Captain, Officers, expedition team and crew offer a first class service and have been selected for their professionalism and expertise. In view of its crucial importance as a control centre for all nautical and technical operations, the bridge is an extremely sensitive zone. This is why international safety regulations prohibit it from being open to the general public. However, guests will have the opportunity to visit the bridge whenever nautical interests and the local regulations allow for it. Guests on board may view the bridge by prior arrangement with the officer on duty. The bridge officers will be happy to provide you with some information regarding the itinerary, the course, the position of the ship and other nautical questions.CABIN INFORMATION
Accommodation on board is arranged over five decks and all cabins are outside facing; the Porthole Staterooms feature two portholes, the Window Staterooms feature a non-opening window and the Veranda Staterooms and Owner’s Suites have a window and veranda door which open onto a private balcony with deck furniture. The cabins and suites are all spacious ranging in size from 17.5 square metres for the Porthole Staterooms to 30.8 square metres for the Owner’s Suites and all feature television, telephone, minibar, sitting area, desk with drawers, safe and spacious wardrobe. The comfortable twin beds can be converted to a Queen with the exception of Veranda Staterooms 615-618 which have fixed twin beds and the Owner’s Suites which have a fixed double bed. The twin beds measure 90 x 200 centimetres, and the double beds measure 180 x 200 centimetres. Cabins on Decks 3 to 6 have an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and the Owner’s Suites on Deck 7 have a bathtub with overhead shower. In the bathroom you will find a selection of amenities including shampoo, shower gel and lotion and hairdryer.DRESS CODE
During the day, the atmosphere on board is casual. For the evening, we would recommend a smart-casual wardrobe and you may wish to wear something a little dressier for the welcome and farewell dinners, for example, a jacket and tie for gentlemen and occasion wear for ladies. No “black tie” is necessary.COMMUNICATIONS

Each evening a copy of the following day’s daily programme will be placed in your cabin. Please remember that in remote areas or when weather conditions play an important role, the day’s events and timing may be altered. Flexibility is a must. If plans must be changed, you will be notified via the public address system.DINING & DRINKING
Diverse and classic dishes will be available for every meal, whether you are enjoying a quick breakfast in the outdoor café, weather permitting, or a relaxed evening meal in the elegant restaurant. Breakfast is served buffet-style with cooked dishes available to order, lunch is a choice between a buffet and à la carte menu and dinner is served from a four course à la carte menu in a single sitting. A choice of red or white wine, beer and soft drinks is included at lunch and dinner and there is a complimentary 24-hour tea and coffee station available in the lounge. For your enjoyment, there will also be special events throughout your cruise such as barbecues on deck or evenings with a special theme. A variety of beverages are available for purchase including beer, wine by the glass or bottle, cocktails, speciality drinks, and spirits.
If you have any dietary requirements such as vegetarian, low salt, gluten free or low cholesterol, please notify the Reservations Department at Noble Caledonia. We regret that not all dietary requirements can be guaranteed. If you have any specific or special foods you require we recommend that you take some with you, although we will endeavour to accommodate your needs. Once on board, please speak to the Maitre D’ at dinner on your first night on board to reconfirm your requirements.ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
You will find both 220V European 2 pin and 110V US 2 pin plugs in the cabin. The outlet in the bathroom is only suitable for shaving equipment. We recommend that you bring a travel adaptor with you if required. For safety reasons, the use of electric kettles, hair straighteners and irons in the cabins is not permitted.E-MAIL
E-mails can be sent and received (up to 200 MB) free of charge via the onboard “guest portal”. Please be aware that in extreme climatic zones (such as the Northwest Passage, the Arctic and Antarctica) Wi-Fi connections may be unavailable, so the dispatch and reception of e-mails may not be possible for days at a time.EXPERTS/LECTURES
Expeditions are accompanied by renowned experts who will be glad to answer your questions about the cruise area. With enthralling lectures, images and presentations, during discussions and also in personal conversations, they will impart their in-depth background knowledge concerning your cruise destination. The MS Seaventure has a medical centre equipped with modern facilities which is under the direction of an experienced ship’s doctor. The costs for any treatment or medication will be charged to your onboard account and at the end of the cruise, you will receive a separate invoice to submit to your health insurance provider.ONBOARD PAYMENT
All monetary transactions on board are handled by Reception. The onboard currency is the US Dollar. To ensure cashless transactions, an account will be set up for you which can be settled at Reception at the end of your cruise. Landings will be arranged by using the motorised inflatable rubber boats (Zodiacs) exclusively, or in exceptional cases with local tender boats. The ship does not have its own tender boats.WI-FI

Much of the success enjoyed during expeditions is due to the proper handling and usage of Zodiac landing craft. These rubber boats, of which there are 12 on board, have a shallow draft and contain air-filled compartments. Guests will be advised where and when to meet the Zodiac for travel to and from the ship. Please ensure that your hands are free at all times and accept the assistance given by the crew when boarding the Zodiacs.
