A Baltic cruise by small ship is the most perfect way to visit this endlessly fascinating corner of Northern Europe. The cities of the Baltic offer a cornucopia of delights from the now independent Baltic states and their capitals with marvellously untouched Medieval quarters to the sheer delight of Scandinavian ports with their colourful architecture. The history of the region is intriguing, with countries vying for commercial and political influence for over a thousand years and this complex past will be brought to life by our onboard Guest Speaker and informative local guides. Travelling aboard a small ship with just over 100 like-minded, fellow guests is the ideal way to visit this beautiful region. Join us and discover for yourself the treasures of the Baltic.
With over thirty years of experience operating cruises in this region, we believe we have the most perfectly balanced Baltic cruises. Our voyages are certainly not ones which the large cruise vessels could undertake but are perfect for our small ship cruises which are limited to 118 guests and can access the smaller ports and islands in the region. We have devised a choice of itineraries which will appeal to those who are either experiencing the Baltic for the first time or who have visited the cities of the Baltic before and are looking for a less traditional cruise.
Depending on which journey you choose, you can combine time in some of our favourite cities in the Baltic such as Riga, Stockholm, Tallinn and Gdansk with some smaller hidden treasures including Denmark’s Bornholm Island or Skagen, the country’s northernmost town whose amazing seascapes and incredible light casts a lifelong spell on all who visit. Other highlights include the Estonian island of Saaremaa which is a gem with its Medieval Episcopal castle and timeless countryside, Visby on the Swedish island of Gotland and the Finnish archipelago of the Aland Islands with its pretty capital of Mariehamn.
