Restoration of the Terra Nova
We are pleased to announce the completion of the conservation work to restore the silver model of Captain Scott’s Terra Nova, the supply ship, after which his final Antarctic expedition in 1910-13 was named.
The NCCT contributed towards the cost of careful cleaning, shaping and re-rigging of the model vessel so that it can be shared with visitors and researchers at the Scott Polar Research Institute, Cambridge. www.spri.cam.ac.uk
