Isle of Canna Access Track

When John Love (Field Staff) told us of the fundraising bid by the islanders to build an access track to join the houses, crofts and primary school on Sanday with the road bridge from Canna the NCCT were happy to assist. As regular visitors to the area we were pleased to contribute towards a project which would give great benefit to the local community. The track, known as Finlay’s Road (after the driver of the road digger) is now complete and has been a great success with the added benefit that we can now do circular walks without climbing hills.
