Island Sky conserving St Kilda

When Island Sky visited St Kilda on Sunday 28th June, Cruise Director Neil Horrocks took the opportunity to gain use of the restored church ‘kirk’ to hold a Sunday service. As usual donations were generously made by passengers, half of which (£200) has been sent to the National Trust for Scotland to support their work on St Kilda. We have been advised by the NTS that our donation will be used towards the maintenance of the church walls and roof and well as rebuilding dry stone walls on the island.
