Building Schools for Burma Cycling America

Joe Nelson, Head of CR and Contracting cycled from Vancouver to San Diego raising £4718 which was matched by the NCCT bringing the total raised to £9600. So where did the money go….

A brand new school has been built for 100 or so kids in a little village in a remote corner of northwest Burma. The village is actually about 10 miles from the nearest road so all of the materials for the school had to be carried through the forest for the last 10 miles, which makes the fact that it has been built and is now up and running only 6 months after he completed the ride all the more impressive.
