Pam Le Noury talks to Camilla Nichols, Chief Executive of the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust, about the important work that they do preserving the historic buildings and artefacts in Antarctica. The trust maintains six historic sites including Port Lockroy, Base A, which is run as a living museum experience and is a regular call on our Antarctic cruises. From the race to sovereignty of Antarctica in the 40s to the science era of the 50s and present-day projects and developments, learn of the different elements of our Antarctic heritage in this interesting talk.
