Sanne Paarman

Sanne Paarman is a thalassophile with a deep passion for the natural world. She has a background in natural science and chemistry and has spent many years working in educational publishing, authoring, and editing biology, physics and chemistry learning material for the school curricula of many African countries, such as South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Cameroon and Rwanda. Born and raised in Denmark, she today calls Cape Town home and loves spending time in the African bush, guiding groups on safaris.To combine her love for the sea and science, she worked as a research fellow, studying whales in the Southern Ocean and found her way to the Expedition industry where she enjoys sharing her passion for the remote polar regions and the beautiful Indian Ocean Islands.
