Dean Opie

Dean has been in the Expedition industry for over 15 years starting in the trekking industry specialising in the Kokoda track in Papua New Guinea but also taking treks to Kilimanjaro, Mont Blanc, Everest Base Camp and Mt Rinjani in Indonesia. These experiences led him to discover a passion for the expedition cruising industry in around 2013 which has opened a whole new world of adventure and memorable experiences in his role as a Naturalist. Being a people person, Dean likes to think he brings an element of enjoying everything there is to the expedition cruising industry from the big-ticket items to the smallest of unexpected pleasantries.
