Colin Thompson

Colin has been in the travel industry for over 40 years. With a yearn to travel, Colin was successful in securing a post as an overseas representative with a Scadinavian company in Spain. This was a 6 month contract but he “forgot” to go home. Winter work followed as did promotions to Area Manager with several British Tour Operators. In 2003 Colin decided it was time to return but the travel bug was still in his system. After being offered tours to Mexico and China, many others followed as did his experiences, first on river cruises and then on ocean ships but Colin does not like the huge floating cities, preferring small ships like those used by Noble Caledonia. In his spare time, Colin enjoys supporting his local football team, languages and cultures and fast cars which he can’t afford! Colins favourite destinations include Mexico and South America.
