A path through the five acres of the Palazzo’s gardens leads to the 25-metre fresh-water pool surrounded by bougainvillaea, and beyond to a small door which leads down to the Palazzo’s private beach. The terraces and magnificent fresh-water swimming pool are set in a profusion of greenery with an inviting pool terrace bar offering light lunches and cocktails. The wonderful views at Palazzo Belmonte inspire some guests to paint or draw, while others prefer to read and relax in the shade of the pine trees in the garden or by the pool. The Palazzo’s Terrace Lounge Bar is an intimate place with unparalleled views. The refined and cosy atmosphere, with views of the sea stretching to infinity, makes it a magical place to spend a memorable evening sipping a good glass of wine. During the cooler months, there is a cosy sitting room where you can relax, read, play cards or simply enjoy a cup of coffee.

Palazzo Belmonte’s rooms are located among several buildings, each with unique characteristics. Edoardo’s House is located in the heart of the Palazzo and offers a variety of luxury suites, just steps away from the central flower-filled courtyard. Hidden away in the lush gardens is the more recently built Villa Belmonte which consists of two structures, Villa Francesca and Villa Maria Sofia, named after the Prince’s daughters and designed to complement the historic Edoardo’s House within the main Palazzo. All accommodation is beautifully appointed with spacious bathrooms and modern comforts including satellite television, Wi-Fi, mini-bar, safe and air-conditioning. The Superior Rooms measure 30 to 35 square metres and feature a furnished terrace with wonderful sea views. Bright and spacious, these rooms are on the first and second floors (please note there is no lift). The Standard Rooms measure 30 square metres and are located on the ground and first floors with a patio or terrace with a view of the ancient garden wall whilst there is also the option to reserve a Standard Room with sea view. The ground floor Luxury Suite measures 75 square metres and benefits from a spacious sitting room and a patio.

A number of the included meals will be taken at the Palazzo and, weather permitting, these will be taken open-air in the ‘Belvedere’, a beautiful terrace in the gardens where at night candles are lit to add to the magical atmosphere. Breakfast is buffet style featuring a selection of locally sourced products. For dinner, regional specialities with an emphasis on fresh seafood and the finest local produce feature on the menu including the homemade local ‘fusilli’ pasta and extra virgin olive oil from the Belmonte estate. The Palazzo’s restaurant is closed on certain evenings allowing for the opportunity to sample some excellent restaurants that are located about ten minutes’ walk away in nearby Santa Maria di Castellabate.

If you have any dietary requirements such as vegetarian, low salt, gluten free and low cholesterol, please notify the Reservations Department at Noble Caledonia. We regret that not all dietary requests can be guaranteed. If you have any specific or special foods that you require, we recommend that you take some with you although we will endeavor to accommodate your needs. Once you have checked in to the hotel, please speak to the reception staff on your first night to reconfirm your requirements.

DINING & DRINKING
A buffet breakfast is served daily at the Pool Terrace from 8.00 am to 10.30 am featuring a selection of locally sourced products. A number of the included lunches and dinners will be taken at the Palazzo and, weather permitting, these will take place open-air in the ‘Belvedere’, a beautiful terrace in the gardens where at night candles are lit to add to the magical atmosphere. Light lunch and snacks are served daily at the Pool Terrace from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm. Please note that opening times for the hotel’s dining and drinking venues are subject to change locally.

DRESS CODE
The dress code is always informal. Please cover up when walking around the grounds.

ELECTRICITY
The voltage in the hotel is 220 volts. Sockets are 2-round pin, European style. All bathrooms are equipped with a shaver socket.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
In the unlikely event that an emergency should occur during your stay, we ask that you remain calm and follow the instructions of the staff. We request that as soon as you enter your room, you carefully read the safety instructions in your room information book.

We are always looking for ways to improve our holidays and the services provided and in order to do this we welcome feedback from our guests. Your comments are important to us therefore we request that you complete the questionnaire that will be provided to you by your Tour Manager.

LAUNDRY SERVICE
A laundry and dry-cleaning service is available in the hotel. Laundry bags and a price list can be found in the wardrobe in your room. Please fill in the laundry list and leave it on your bed together with the items to be laundered.

LOST PROPERTY
Before you check out, please check your hotel room to ensure you do not leave anything behind. If you discover you have left any items behind, please contact Noble Caledonia directly. If we are able to recover your item(s) we will contact you to arrange delivery or collection, and to advise of any associated costs.

Swimming pool – The swimming pool is open from 10.00 am until 7.00 pm.
Beach - The beach is open from 8.30 am until 7.00 pm. The beach is approximately 200 metres from the main palazzo. Beach towels for the day are provided in your room.

ROOM ACCOUNT
All guests will have their own “room account” once credit card details have been given to Reception on arrival. This account allows you to sign for any expenses and then settle your bill at the Reception Desk at the end of your stay. Prices are shown and charged in Euros. Your room account can be paid by Debit Card, Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or cash (Euros).
