Le Pelican Hotel

The four-star Le Pelican Hotel is located on the shores of Lake Annecy just a five minute walk from the historic centre of Annecy. The main building of the hotel was built in 1820 and was a local arms house and it has been wonderfully restored and blended with more modern sections of the hotel. The hotel elegantly combines history, modernity and ecology with local heritage and a special focus on nature is present throughout. The hotel is home to an artisanal bakery on the ground floor, a bistro style restaurant that showcases local produce and an outside terrace during the summer months which offers stunning views over the lake. There is also an outdoor heated pool with views of the mountains.

The hotel features 94 rooms that are simply decorated in contemporary styles, with a focus on the materials used and the light. The colour scheme is timelessly elegant with greige, smoke, slate and, of course, splashes of Pelican blue that combine discreetly with the marble elements and dark wood furniture. The rooms are a comfortable 20 square metres and have been built to be entirely open-plan, offering both a living space and a place to rest. They include all the usual amenities such as air-conditioning, minibar, bathrobes, slippers, safe, television, Wi-Fi and tea/coffee making facilities. Beds can be configured as double or twin, please request your preference at the time of booking.

Classic Rooms: Classic Rooms are located in the brand-new building offering views over the Basilica of the Visitation or Lake Annecy.

Superior Rooms: Superior Rooms are located in the historical building and have either a partial lake view or Basilica view.
