Light for Life
In association with Unity of the Unbreakable
Since spring 2025, the Noble Caledonia Charitable Trust (NCCT) has partnered with Swedish volunteer Ulrica Schillström and the Ukrainian organisation Unity of the Unbreakable to deliver LIGHT for LIFE — an initiative that quite literally brings light to the darkest places.
The project provides generators to hospitals, schools and vulnerable communities in war-affected regions of Ukraine, where power infrastructure has been deliberately targeted.
In places where doctors are forced to operate without light and children attempt to learn without electricity, each generator becomes a vital source of safety, dignity and hope.

Delivering Critical Energy Support
So far, 40 power stations have been delivered to medical institutions and communities in Sumy, Nikolaiv, Kramatorsk, Kherson, Gluhiv, Pervomaisk and Partizanske — with more on the way.
Each delivery represents not just equipment, but the ability to sustain essential services under the most challenging conditions.
A Grassroots Network with Real Impact
The partnership began through Ulrica Schillström, who has been deeply involved in supporting Ukraine since 2022. What started as organising housing for refugees in Sweden quickly evolved into a self-managed logistics network delivering aid directly into Ukraine.
Working alongside Mykhailo Mokhun and the Ukrainian organisation Unity of the Unbreakable, founded by Oksana Dmytrivna in Lviv, the initiative has developed into a streamlined, highly effective support chain with minimal overhead and maximum impact.

“When power is lost, everything stops — restoring energy restores life.”
Looking Ahead — A Shared Vision
The collaboration between NCCT and Ulrica Schillström has been recognised with a nomination for a humanitarian award from the Swedish government — an acknowledgement of a partnership built on dedication, creativity and impact.
Looking forward, there are plans to expand this work through EnerAid — For Good Energy — a developing humanitarian foundation focused on delivering not only emergency power and food aid, but also psychosocial support and recovery tools in crisis situations.
Together, these efforts aim to build a sustainable platform that delivers “good energy” in every sense: power, resilience, and human connection.
Enduring Impact
Through this collaboration, NCCT, Ulrica Schillström, and Unity of the Unbreakable demonstrate what is possible when grassroots initiative meets professional coordination — delivering meaningful, life-saving support where it is needed most.
