Covid Support Fund

The pandemic has had a devastating economic impact across the globe, including many communities that have relied upon tourism for their income. Using the Noble Caledonia Trust framework, our aim continues to be to improve economic, social and environmental conditions in the areas we work and visit.   We know that the combination of tourism and goodwill can make a positive difference to the people and places we visit but during this period that we have been unable to travel, the communities we have been supporting have suffered enormously, with the double impact of the pandemic and loss of income from tourism. Whilst we cannot currently provide support during our travels, we can continue to send donations until we can return. Many of the organisations we have been working with have introduced projects to assist their communities during the pandemic and after careful consideration we have chosen three projects to benefit from our Covid Support Fund in Cambodia, India and Madagascar, details of which can be viewed below.

Limited Edition 30th Anniversary Jigsaw Puzzle Fundraiser

To help with fundraising and celebrate Noble Caledonia’s 30th anniversary, we have produced two, limited edition jigsaw puzzles representing each of our Sky vessels - a fun activity to while away the time until we can embark on our travels once again. The puzzles are of images captured by Sue Forbes, award winning, passionate travel and wildlife photographer and member of the Noble Caledonia Expedition Team.

It has taken some time to bring this project to fruition due to various Covid restrictions and lockdowns but, with the help of UK jigsaw manufacturer, Cornflower Ltd, it is with huge pleasure we can finally announce the two bespoke puzzles depicting the MS Island Sky and MS Hebridean Sky are now available. The puzzles are available for a minimum donation of £35.00 per puzzle (inc. postage and packaging) and all profits go to the Covid Support Fund.

All funds raised through donations and jigsaw purchases will be matched by the Noble Caledonia Charitable Trust up to a total amount of £10,000.
