Berlin is a vibrant city with world-famous cultural and historical sights, wonderful architecture and a burgeoning creative and cultural scene and we have planned our itinerary for when these treasures can be best enjoyed in the absence of the high-season crowds. The city offers the discerning visitor some of the finest museums as well as top-class opera performances and, whether you are discovering this fascinating city for the first time or rediscovering the city, there is a wealth of attractions on offer.During our stay we will enjoy a guided tour including the domed Reichstag, Alexanderplatz, the East Side Gallery and Checkpoint Charlie where we will learn about more of the city%u2019s unique history. There will also be a full day excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Potsdam where we visit Sanssouci Palace, the former summer residence of Frederick the Great with its wonderful gardens, and a guided tour of Charlottenburg Palace, the largest and most significant palace complex in Berlin.
