Michelangelo

Built in 2000 and recently refurbished in 2011, the 158 passenger MS Michelangelo is ideal for exploring Venice. To ensure the ship’s public areas feel spacious and never overcrowded, Noble Caledonia limits passenger numbers aboard the MS Michelangelo to 120. She is an ideal vessel for taking in the breathtaking sights of northern Italy’s unique waterways, and to our minds, is the most convenient way to appreciate La Serenissima.

Spread over three decks, the onboard facilities include a delightful restaurant which accommodates all guests in one sitting. The Lounge is a pleasant space for relaxation with large panoramic windows creating a bright and airy ambience. Also in the Lounge is a large TV and bar area accessible from the ship’s reception area. On the large, spacious Sun deck you will find comfortable deck furniture where you can relax in the shade or enjoy the pleasant Italian weather. The onboard shop sells postcards, stamps, souvenirs and practical items.

  • Your Dining

    Your Dining

Meals are taken in the MS Michelangelo’s bright and airy, single sitting restaurant on the Upper deck. The restaurant seats all passengers in an open seat arrangement and tables are arranged to seat groups of four to eight, with most tables seating six. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style and feature both hot and cold dishes, whereas dinner is a served, 4-course affair with a choice of main course. Cuisine focuses on regional and international specialities and an open bar is available (premium brands excluded) throughout the day, with wine, beer and soft drinks being served during mealtimes. A self-service tea and coffee station is available throughout the day and afternoon tea is served daily.

Special dietary requests such as vegetarian, low salt and low cholesterol should be made to Noble Caledonia (in writing) in advance. However, we recommend that you contact your Cruise Director or Tour Managers once on board to reconfirm such requests. We regret that the ship is unable to guarantee special requests and is not equipped to prepare or serve kosher or halal cuisine.

  • Life Onboard

    Life Onboard

The MS Michelangelo is the ideal ship for exploring Venice. There are many splendid hotels in Venice, but being a water city this floating hotel will be a great advantage. The ship is comfortable and the atmosphere onboard informal. The friendly crew will do their utmost to ensure your stay is enjoyable, informative and agreeable throughout.

During the day, comfortable and casual attire is appropriate, whereas in the evenings the dress code is smart casual. There will be Welcome, Farewell and Gala evenings both on and off the ship and for these events you may like to bring something a little dressier; gentlemen may wish to wear a jacket and tie and ladies a dress. No black tie is necessary.

  • For your comfort
