Buxton International Festival (BIF) is one of the UK’s leading annual arts events; a cultural celebration of the very best opera, music and literature taking place in the beautiful Peak District. The Festival features the most promising rising stars in the arts world, as well as leading British and international singers, artists and literary figures performing in a packed summer programme alongside a series of concerts, a literary series featuring leading writers and thinkers and themed guided walks.
Noble Caledonia was due to sponsor two of the festival days over the summer and so we would like to share with you details of the BIF online festival which took place in July 2020. BIF Digital 2020 is a series of recorded interviews of which highlights include Charles Moore in conversation with Matthew Paris on his new book about Margaret Thatcher and a BBC Philharmonic concert, with Omer Meir Wellber.
