The Sun Deck provides a pleasant environment to relax and enjoy the stunning views with deck furniture in shaded areas. There is also a putting green. Relax with a book in one of the six lounges including the paddlewheel lounge, or in the Mark Twain Library and chart room. The vessel is spacious enough to allow for both quiet relaxation and socialising with your fellow travellers. Throughout the day beverages, snacks and pastries are available in the 4th deck lounge and high tea is served in the afternoon. There is a lift to all decks.

The Grand Dining Room comfortably seats all passengers in one sitting and you are free to sit where you choose. The glass enclosed dining room provides an amazing panoramic view to the passing scenery. In keeping with the atmosphere throughout the ship, dining is a casual affair with a smart-casual dress code. Menus are inspired by regional and local specialties, using only the freshest ingredients and prepared by the highly trained chefs. Complimentary wine and beer is served with lunch and dinner. You can choose to enjoy breakfast by room service on your balcony and High Tea is served daily in the 4th deck lounge. Each evening before dinner there will be a complimentary cocktail hour.

A typical day will include an informal breakfast with your fellow guests followed by time cruising and an exploration ashore with experienced guides. CABIN ACCESS
Each cabin will receive their own key cards. Before leaving the ship we kindly ask all passengers to swap the key card with a shore pass which will be provided to you by the ship’s reception desk. After your return to the ship please return your shore pass to reception in exchange for your key card.
CABIN DIMENSIONS
The Owner’s suites measure between 352-445 square feet and feature a private balcony. Categories AAM, AAL and AAC measure 304-328 square feet and feature private balconies. Category A cabins measure 290 square feet and have a large non-opening window. The single cabins measure 203-230 square feet and feature private balconies (cabin 117 has a large non-opening window).
CABIN FACILITIES
All cabins feature a TV, writing desk and stationery, hairdryer, toiletries and coffee machine.
CRUISE DIRECTOR
A Noble Caledonia Cruise Director will accompany you on your voyage, along with a Noble Caledonia Tour Manager.
CURRENCY
The currency on board is the US Dollar. The ship accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash (USD only) and Travellers Cheques (USD only).
DAILY PROGRAMME
Each evening the next day’s programme will be delivered to your cabin.
DRESS CODE
Comfortable and practical attire is recommended during the day for excursions and something dressier for the evening. More formal dress is required only for Welcome and Captain’s dinner (black tie is not necessary).
ELECTRICITY
Voltage on board is 110v/60Hz (American standard) and charging in your cabin is restricted to low voltage electrical appliances only (e.g mobile phone or camera charger). Please note that the use of personal hairdryers, clothing irons, curling tongs etc is strictly prohibited within your cabin. We recommend you take an adaptor with you.
ELEVATOR
An elevator is on board for passenger use. The elevator accesses all decks.

On your cabin door is a deck plan displaying your closest (and all other) emergency exits. Emergency exits are marked in green and fire extinguishers fitted in all corridors.

Please note there is no doctor on board the vessel. A number of crew are fully trained and certified to provide First Aid. Further medical assistance can be sought from one of the hospitals along the river in the event of emergency.

An exercise area is available for use on the ship’s Sun Deck.

Gratuities have been included in your holiday price, however if you feel that certain individuals deserve special award, you are of course free to remunerate as you please.

While all meals are generally served, there is a self-service area at breakfast (fruits, cereals etc) and afternoon teas are also buffet-style. An included cocktail hour with canapés will be available every evening before the commencement of dinner. Dietary requests can be catered for (on request). Please provide any such requests in writing to Noble Caledonia at the time of your reservation and please reiterate these requests to the ship’s Hotel Manager upon your embarkation.
MOSQUITOES
Please ensure you take the appropriate precautions to guard against mosquito bites.
OPERATIONAL CHANGES
Despite our meticulous planning efforts, there may be times when changes must be made to the daily programme due to circumstances beyond our control such as heavy river traffic or fluctuating water levels. The ship’s Captain and crew along with Noble Caledonia staff will do their utmost to find the best and safest solution. Any changes to the day’s schedule will be communicated as soon as possible.
PAYMENTS ONBOARD
The vessel operates a signed-chit system whereby no payment is immediately required (the vessel only requiring a signature for your purchase) and, only at the end of the cruise will you be presented with your final itemised bill to settle.
POST
The vessel’s crew will be happy to send any post you may have on your behalf (although please note that as they are unable to do so at every port of call, this could take longer than if you were to post yourself). Please note that neither the ship nor Noble Caledonia can be held responsible for items of post that are not successfully delivered on your behalf.

A questionnaire will be provided to all passengers towards the end of their sailing. We would be grateful for you to complete and return this.
RECEPTION
Reception is staffed during peak hours. You will always be able to contact a member of the crew 24 hours a day.
