We start our river odyssey in Hungary and cruise through Slovakia, Austria and Germany in great comfort. Our floating hotel, the four-star MS Johann Strauss is the perfect base as we explore historic towns and villages, allowing us to unpack once, yet see something different each day. If you have never experienced a river cruise it is difficult to explain the sheer pleasure that comes from travelling through the heart of Europe observing everyday life along the banks of the river.
