We would like to thank NC for the excellent organisation both in the office and on board the ship. From start to finish everything went like clockwork which was a big relief when we were eating out as Pam is lactose intolerant but this was well taken care of for her. It was so nice to see many crew members still on the JS and their friendliness and efficiency couldn't have been bettered.
The tours organisation is well worth a mention with top class guides and restaurants in the places we visited. And on top of that of course we had the wonderful concerts in Saltzberg, Melk, Vienna and Bratislave and also on board from London Festival Opera. Once again thanks to all concerned and we hope to cruise with you again in the not too distant future.

Having just returned from St. Petersburg last Wednesday, I am writing to let you know what a fantastic experience it has been. We went as a family group of six to celebrate our 70th birthdays and I am sure that I speak for all of us when I say that it greatly exceeded our expectations.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I realise that this was due to your excellent preparations from London, but it was our brilliant guide Julia who added the personal expertise and care in St. Petersburg. Every day was arranged with such quiet efficiency that we had to concern ourselves with nothing. This left us free of any anxiety and able to fully appreciate all that she was able to show us.

Sergei, our driver, spoke no English but was pleasant and helpful at all times. Julia was able to rely on him always being there when we needed him and he skilfully negotiated the hazards of St. Petersburg traffic.

I am writing to congratulate you and your wonderful 'team' on board the MS Johann Strauss. I was fortunate enough to be on board last week cruising on the Danube, and from the time we arrived at Heathrow we were met by one of your representatives and ushered to the front of the queue! making us feel very important- and from then on the whole experience was a dream.
Cesar Perez your Cruise Director and the whole of his team were fantastic - the Captain and his crew were brilliant and we were made to feel very' special' -the food was good and plentiful and the waiters helpful and attentive. The London Festival Opera - they really were the icing on a fantastic cake! What a brilliant group they were, not just their musical abilities but such lovely people. MS Johann Strauss itself is a floating five star hotel, the rooms very well appointed, always kept spotless by the housekeeper and her team. Johann Strauss never tired of playing his violin!! I The whole experience was truly wonderful.

I would like to offer my warmest congratulations on the holiday as a whole. As an experienced traveller I so very very much enjoyed the visual and emotional delights of Lake Como, so ably administered by your staff, and enhanced by the totally splendid opera north and their contributions, which often brought tears to my eyes (in the best possible way of course!)
The food at grand hotel menaggio was excellent, the restaurant staff efficient and very friendly, especially as I was holidaying in this instance on my own, and I think this is a good yardstick to measure the intangibles of restaurant life. I quickly made friends with two other pairs of friends on the holiday, and the general level of cameraderie among the noble caledonian clientele speaks volumes for the way in which you conduct your business, promoting 'togetherness' but still maintaining privacy and dignity.
Finally the excursions to the delightful villas and gardens, the variety of approach to this, and the trouble taken over details such as the holding of concerts actually at different villas, and the amount of effort this must have entailed, particularly the moving of the grand piano, was unparalleled in my experience. Please be kind enough to pass on my sincerest thanks to all concerned, including opera north, and rest assured it was one of the best holidays i have experienced, and splendid value for money.

We found the entire crew to be excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Meals were fine and the menu choice was good and balanced. The tours were varied and interesting. Having worked in the travel industry in a senior capacity for over 40 years I am probably more critical than most. I am also aware that it is impossible to please everyone all of the time but all in all the visit was enjoyable, tour content good, the crew excellent and we came home happy!

I've just returned from my trip Music on the Danube and I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it and what an excellent holiday it was. I thought that the standard your company maintain in all aspects was excellent and the staff could not do enough to ensure that everyone was having an enjoyable time. No mean feat as it wasthe end of a long and busy season for them.
This was my first experience of river cruising and it was excellent, I will certainly repeat the experience, although I think that any future river cruise will find it difficult to improve on Music on the Danube.

We have recently returned from a journey into the heart of Borneo aboard the Orient Pandaw. We booked via another operator and were somewhat taken aback to find that we were the only two clients taking this particular holiday. Transferring at Kuala Lumpur and being transported to our hotel in Kutching by local agents we felt somewhat isolated.
We flew to Sibu where we were to join the ship, imagine our delight when we arrived at Sibu to find other English speaking tourists - yes, we had the absolutely marvellous luck of joining up with Noble Caledonia passengers who had been in Malaysia for a few days previously and were now joining the Orient Pandaw for the week's cruise. When they realised that we were "alone" we were quickly taken into their company and we spent the most marvellous week aboard; much fun and laughter was had by all.
BUT the biggest bonus by far was having the wonderful Angie Chambers on board. Not only did she arrange for the dining tables to be arranged so that we could be accommodated with Noble Caledonia passengers but she always made sure that we were aware of everything that was going on.
On our return to Kutching, the plane at Sibu had technical problems and we were then in a position of having to find alternative flights. This Angie encompassed with her own passengers and ensured that we were on a flight to Kutching.
Her kindness and assistance to us was so very much appreciated and, although we did write her a note thanking her, we felt it necessary to let you know how helpful and professional she was when dealing with everyone - but particularly ourselves.
Thank you, Noble Caledonia, for being there when it mattered. Needless to say, we have already ordered NC brochures!!!

Thank you so much for an absolutely fantastic introduction to cruising. For us it was a superb celebration of our Silver Wedding Anniversary and will leave us with memories to savour for years to come (and also to bore our neighbours with stories of our adventures!). The Island Sky is a fantastic ship and the staff took care of us in exemplary fashion and we wanted for nothing. Our visits to the "special treats" of Croatia were both fascinating and surprising and we certainly fell in love with Kotor, Hvar and Vis. I have just returned from the cruise 'Across Europe by River' and I felt I must tell you what a marvellous trip it had been. Right from the start at Heathrow Airport the devotion of the staff was excellent. Everything was done to ensure our easy transport to the plane. Similarly when we reached Amsterdam again our transfer to the ship was so easy, and the welcome we received as returing passengers was most unexpected and a lovely surprise.

It was great to return to the same cabin we occupied last year and as before it was most comfortable. The staff all worked so hard and appeared to enjoy their work thoroughly. The cabin was cleaned twice a day, the food in the restaurant was excellent and the choice was amazing, possibly too much. The waiters could not do enough to make sure we were satisfied, and went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed.

My wife and I have recently returned from an 'adventure cruise' on the M.V.Quest and we would like to let you know that it was the best travel experience that we have ever had. Not only did we have good weather but, also, the wildlife sightings were amazing, better than we could have ever have expected.
However, the success of the trip was due to the superb leadership skills of Adam Rheborg. He made every effort to ensure that the cruise was informative, educational, inspiring and enjoyable and he worked tirelessly to make sure that no opportunity was lost to appreciate the awe-inspiring scenery, the wide variety of wildlife and the historical sites. We would also like to express our gratitude to the other guides - Mats, Olle, Par and Martin - who supported Adam so professionally and gave us the benefit of their expertise by helping us to understand the historical, ecological and cultural aspects of the Svalbard region.
The multi-national crew on board Quest were friendly and welcoming and they worked tremendously hard to make our holiday comfortable. We particularly appreciated the 'extras' that they managed to do, such as the on-deck barbecue at the end of the week. Congatulations to all of you at Polar Quest and Noble Caledonia for providing us with such a well-organised, memorable and life-changing experience.
