The balance of the cruise programme was just about ideal, with a good sea/land ratio. The Clipper Adventurer is a fine, small cruise ship, perfectly suited to our preferences. The captain and all his crew were approachable, helpful and friendly. The open bridge policy is an excellent idea and we were welcomed in on several occasions. This is a happy ship and we were in the company of happy passengers.

The Cruise Director and her team's organisation was excellent, both Guest Lecturers gave us most interesting insights and backgrounds. We managed to see eight polar bears on very close proximity together with a beach full of walruses, many seals and thousands of birds. We also managed to set foot on the pack ice which was an incredible experience as it breaks up with great regularity and moves at tremendous speed with the wind and tide.'
