Sarah DwyerHaving grown up in the UK, Ireland and Germany, Sarah completed her undergraduate studies at the University of St Andrews, Scotland where she graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Marine and Environmental Biology in 2005. Since then, Sarah has worked as a Whale Watch Guide on the Isle of Mull, West Coast of Scotland and in Kaikoura, South Island, New Zealand. Based in New Zealand since 2006, Sarah continues to carry out marine mammal research with Dr Ingrid Visser of the Orca Research Trust and commenced her own PhD research in 2009. With the Coastal-Marine Research Group at Massey University, Auckland, Sarah is studying common and bottlenose dolphins of the Hauraki Gulf, North Island.
