Hannah Lawson For the past twelve years Hannah has divided her time between working on expedition cruise ships as a wildlife guide, zodiac driver and expedition leader and creating artwork in her from her studio in Hebden Bridge West Yorkshire. She has a bachelors degree in zoology from the University of Liverpool and gained a Masters in Natural History Illustration at the Royal College of Art, London.
She worked as an artist and mural painter for several years at Chester Zoo and also in East Africa. She illustrated a guide book to Kibale Forest National Park, Uganda and did designs and posters for the East Africa Wildlife Society before joining the Noble Caledonia team for the first time in 1999. Her love of wildlfie and wild places has taken her annually from Antarctic and South Georgia in the Austral summer to the high Arctic, via South America, Macaronesia, the UK and Norway. Penguin and albatross sightings are swaped for polar bears and ivory gulls. |
