Elisabeth Luard |
| Elisabeth Luard, food writer, journalist and broadcaster will entertain and educate on the diversity of Mediterranean food, something Elisabeth knows a great deal about having written many books and articles on Mediterranean regions. Her work includes a 13 part TV series for SBS Australia and BBC2 UK, many cookbooks and she is currently a Contributing Editor to Waitrose Food Illustrated. She has a monthly column in Richard Ingrams The Oldie Magazine, and has lately joined the team at online culinary magazine Zester Daily. She reviews regularly in The Daily Mail, The Scotsman, The Jewish Chronicle. Listen to her informative talks and join her in the galley for demonstrations to small groups. |

We have long been associated with London Festival Opera and each year our music themed cruises grow in popularity. Matthew Parris |
| Born 7th August 1949 in Johannesburg, Matthew Parris was educated in Britain and Africa, graduating from Claire College, Cambridge, and going on to study International Relations at Yale. Two years at the Foreign Office were followed by a spell at the Conservative Research Department. From 1977 until the 1979 General Election, he was on the staff of Mrs. Thatcher’s office. Elected Member of Parliament for West Derbyshire in 1979, he gave up his seat in 1986 to become Presenter of L.W.T’s “Weekend World”, a political interview programme, a job he did until 1988. |

Nicholas Parsons |
| Nicholas Parsons has worked in every branch of show business. A Serious actor and a comedy performer. Also sophisticated solo cabaret work and stand-up and comedy in various countries around the world including the Edinburgh Festival – ten seasons, three different shows. He became a household name in Britain when he teamed up with comedian to Arthur Haynes in the 1960’s and their programmes were the top rated comedy shows on Independent Television for 10 years including a successful season at the London Palladium. He worked for 3 years with Benny Hill. He has hosted the BBC Radio 4 JUST A MINTUE for over 44 years and its going strong. The show has received three awards over the years and Nicholas has been voted Radio Personality of the Year. |
